Hotel was clean and a block from the beach. I wavered over giving this a five or four rating, but settled on the four for people who like to see the ocean from your balcony. You can't, but for us that didn't matter. The short walk to the very lovely and uncrowded beach was fine. The owner/manager was so helpful and friendly whenever we needed something. Rooms are small, but we weren't looking for a suite!! The price of this hotel, plus the convenience to the beach and cleanliness of the rooms make it a wonderful bargain. We would go back in a heartbeat.
I Absolutely LOVE the Place!!! The owners are VERY nice, accommodating, and helpful!!! We have stayed there every summer for the past 3yrs and will continue to vacation there every time we visit Fenwick Island, DE!!! They are pet friendly, conveniently located, and reasonably priced!!! So if you are looking for a clean, nicely decorated hotel that are steps from the beach.......Check them out!!!!
have handled the situation completely different like by not following us to our room before saying anything at all. He's a super creepy and rude guy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you want to be watched like a hawk.
The room itself would have been a nice size for just 2 people but having an extra person or 2 will make it crammed. The shower is very small and outdated. The housekeeping staff was fantastic and really nice but the guy at the front desk was a total jerk from the moment we arrived. He told us we were late and gave us a hard time about it (we were stuck in hours of traffic and really just wanted to check in to our room). One night, we had friends stop by that we're staying in a different hotel. They were only staying for a few minuets but the guy followed us from the parking lot, to the second floor where our room was and questioned all of us in the doorway and kicked our friends out. After our friends left, he continued to lecture my boyfriend and I for about 5 minutes about how he understands that "we want to have a good time on vacation but here is not the place". He could
Good destination just outside of ocean city. If your looking for a less crowded beach and less headache with people/crowds. This is a good option.
I don't usually write reviews but when I read them and see negative reviews they always make me hesitant, as they did when I booked the Seaside Inn. We stayed here this past weekend for 2 nights, and we were incredibly pleased with our choice and plan on staying here every summer when we make our trip! I'm assuming the man at the front desk was the owner, and he was incredibly friendly and generous. The room was much nicer than I was anticipating after reading the reviews. Sure, the tub wasn't brand new and had low water pressure, but that is the only negative comment I can think of and it was well cleaned regardless. Low price, short stays are no problem, friendly staff, nice & clean room, and it is even pet friendly (we were switched to a different room when we chose to leave our dogs at home). On top of that it is a very short walk to the beach in our favorite beach town. Highly recommend!
