We ate there about two weeks ago and I ordered the Captain's Crab Haul. This was an awesome meal comprised of crab legs, blue crab, shrimp, corn on the cob & fried chicken. A real treat that was more than enough for a seafood lover such as myself.
This is not a fancy place. It is comfortable and casual; just what you'd expect in a resort town. The food was excellent. We heard that their crabcakes were named number one by a national magazine and they were certainly the best we had during our stay.
Kid friendly and clean. Waitress was great and friendly and on top of everything. Everybody had a good meal. Crabs were great. Despite having plenty of tables they had no trouble seating our table of 12 without any wait. May have started a new family tradition tonight!
Parking was a little bit of a pain even though we got there before the dinner rush (4:30ish) however when we left the line was long to get a table. Smaller than expected and we sat in the "overflow" room past the bar to the right. Only gripe I have there is wish they would put a TV or something to watch while waiting for our meal which was a little long, I thought. But our waitress was great & came to check on us several times for drink refills while we waited and chatted a little. She was great and that offset the longer time.
It was a wonderful experience. Both times we visited our dinner was excellent. However my favorite thing about our 1st dinner was that they sold me just one crab to take home. I just wanted to sample it and it was great. Our server was attentive & very knowledgeable.
Fenwick Crab House gets 5 stars from me!

If you haven't been to the Fenwick Crab House I highly recommend it. The service is great and the employees are friendly and efficient. As for the food...it's outstanding. We have eaten here many times and the food is consistently delicious. Very meaty crab cakes, great fried chicken, the fish is fresh and the key lime pie is outstanding. If you're in the area stop by. I guarantee you'll be glad you did.
