S.O.S. like none other.
Good diner food, the chipped beef is their specialty and it does not disappoint. Their hash browns weren't the best.
Love this down home type restaurant. They only serve breakfast and lunch
We called ahead to see how long of a wait it would be for breakfast for four adults. We were told about 30 minutes. We arrived and the wait was now 30-35 minutes. So we killed some time at a nearby shop. Our table was still not ready and we had been waiting for 45 minutes. Finally after about 55 minutes a table freed up for us. At that point we decided to get lunch. We all had cheese steak subs and fries. It was cooked just right and the fries were nice and crispy and not greasy. Our waitress was attentive. When we come back to the ocean next time we will definitely try some breakfast food and try to get there earlier since it was close to closing when we arrived. The only negative was the length of time we waited. Maybe the hostess could be more realistic with the “estimated time to be seated”, but then again it is only an estimate.

Love this beach café. We stop by each time we go down to the shore. It is often crowded, so we just try to get ahead of the crowd. We have eaten at the counter, but I like table service better. We love to eat their breakfasts, they do grits great, SOS is my husbands favorite, and their pancakes are wonderful.
