Just finished my breakfast. I had the bowswain, with bacon, hash browns, wheat toast and eggs over medium. The toast was a bit thicker then normal, the potatoes were excellent, just crispy enough with onions. Bacon was medium-thick, cooked perfectly. The coffee was actually really good, better than most breakfast places. The only hit was that my eggs were more on the over easy side than over medium, but that is something that 90% cannot get right. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Slow service (20 minutes for a table, 40+ minute wait just for food), rude hostess *AND* waitress, sub-par crab dip and scallops. Were not willing to fix the problems as they should have and tried to blame the customers involved for the slow service and horrid food. I've been here a few times and service was slow even during a slow day. I was willing give this place another chance but I was WRONG to do so. I will never eat here again and will NEVER recommend anyone who enjoys good service, attitude, and fast service.
Come back every year-dinner & breakfast at least once. Never disappoints...from Ct wish closer. Everyone kind & helpful
Consistently good for over 35 years. Nice for families and family run. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One of my favorites for breakfast is their egg and avocado blt on a delicious butter croissant w/ a wedge of cantelope - absolutely delcious!
Great food lots of family's people who work there are polite makes you want to come back
